Born in Buenos Aires in 1942, Vilma Villaverde is a ceramic artist and former I.A.C. South America Representative.
Since 1973, she has taught and created ceramic works that have earned international recognition for their large-scale, figurative, and conceptual depth.
Sculpting memory and life into clay with touches of humor and ready-made bathroom ceramics her practice is marked by discipline, integrity, and devotion to her craft.
